Just an update: I discovered that AirVideo is suffering from the same 4.2 beta issue. Audio but no Video. There's not much detail on there forums, but from what I read they have submitted a fix to apple for approval. It's possible that this issue may fix itself as 4.2 exits beta but my guess is that...

Just FYI: Beta 2 was just released. I updated my iPad and tested the VLC player but I got the same results, audio w/ no video.

Affirmative. Compatability issue? If so I'll update this thread on the issue after beta 2 is released, which might be today if they follow previous beta milestones.

I've tried a few different files in various formats and get the same results every time. I get Audio but no Video. The selection screen (Title Screen, Main Screen, whatever) does show a frame from the video though. Any ideas?
