Hi all, I just upgraded my VLC to 3.0.16 on macOS (from 3.0.12). I've noticed I'm seeing the "soap opera effect" i.e. motion smoothing is happening when I don't want it to. I only watch films and TV dramas on VLC and the last thing I want is ultra-smooth motion like you'd want for a sporti...

So if I have VLC running but in the background (i.e. another window has focused) and I hit the up arrow or down arrow in any other program, VLC "steals" that key press and changes the volume of whatever it's playing. Does anyone know what's up and how to stop it?
