Thanks for the link, successfully installed the latest version. However, the Firefox browser doesn't seem to recognize it (the plug-in) as up-to-date. What can be done to make the Firefox recognize it?

My system -- Win XP SP2 Current VLC Media Player Version - 1.0.5 Goldeneye Trying to update it, but I can't due to error in saving/downloading file.
