I use that function quite often too. But it sometimes make you go hiwire, when you listen to music and want to increase the systems own volume by using the dedicated media keys, not VLCs compression. What makes things even worse is that you cant turn off those keys by removing all shortcuts for hotk...

Im having trouble regarding the hotkeys. When i press the volume up key on the keyboard it increase both the system volume(as intended) AND VLCs volume above 100 % wich leads to distortion. I really love your mediaplayer, guys, but its getting rather annoying to keep reverting VLCs volume down to 10...
