Re: TrueTheater™ Stretch like feature support

It would be extremely useful if implemented. It would be a huge degradation of the movie... I remember this setting being implemented in 16:9 TVs since the glorious times of Sony Trinitron CRT TVs. Some days ago I bought a Toshiba LED HDTV and this feature of non-linear stretching was there under t...

Re: Right Hotkey not working (VLC 1.1.0)

I was able to get the Right key working. After fiddling around for a while in the vlcrc file I got it working. This is the text copied straight out of my file. The carriage returns were included when I pasted, not sure if they matter. I'm pretty sure I deleted an extra # or inserted one, can't reme...

Re: TrueTheater™ Stretch like feature support

I also agree this would be a killer feature as there is a lot of people using 16:9 screens to watch materials in 4:3. In many cases, specially when there aren't too many fast moving scenes or panning shots, this stretching strategy works better than the normal stretching. In fact it was already requ...

Re: Right Hotkey not working (VLC 1.1.0)

In my experience, nothing has changed as far as 1.1.7 version. "Very short backward jump", which I assign to left key, works OK; however "very short forward jump", which I set to right key, keeps on doing nothing when pressed.

Re: VLC doesn't save XSPF playlists (since version 1.0.6)

OK, I think I've found out the context to reproduce the bug. I downloaded the portable version of VLC to make tests. When you told me that it was ok for you, I thought "What's the difference between your test environment and the mine one?" Perhaps changing language interface... and BINGO!!...

Re: VLC doesn't save XSPF playlists (since version 1.0.6)

First of all, sorry for the delay. I didn't notice your reply. You ask me examples but I can say that regardless of the file on hard disk I drag to play list box, when I press Ctrl+Y to save play list, no XSPF file is created. In other words, irrespective of my playlist contents, when I try to save ...

VLC doesn't save XSPF playlists (since version 1.0.6)

Hello. Since some versions ago, VLC refuses to create a XSPF file when I click on "save playlist". This bug was filed: http://trac.videolan.org/vlc/ticket/3981 but surprisingly was closed by someone giving as reason "worksforme". I can't understand this because I have tested this...
