Does the problem appear only when in "full screen mode" or also in "windowed mode"? In full screen mode VLC hangs always at the end of a video or when stopping the video (not during pause). To find related bug entries just seacrch for "full screen"

I have the same problem on different PCs: when playing in full screen mode, VLC freezes when either the video ends or when the STOP button is clicked. The only way to reactivate the PC is to shoot down VLC with the task manager. This behaviour is absolutely reproducable. This problem is new with ver...
