Drag and drop the items to Media Library

lol, thanks for the advice... it was the first thing i thought about doing, it wasn't working. i could only add items in the playlist.
anyway problem is solved because yesterday vlc made an update and this version seems to work fine.

i use vlc for watching movies and also for listening to music. lately the program updated several times and now i cannot add anything in my media library and everything i add in my playlist will be gone after i close the program. can anyone tell me what's the problem? btw i use windows 7, if that is...
