yea, i tried searching for that specific file name because i heard that's how they would be saved, and there was still nothing. I searched my entire C: and D: drive, but no matches were found.
The user folder is on the local drive

I still can't find the recordings. I'm using a variety of source files, avi and mpg mostly. I've looked in both the My Documents and My Videos folders. Is it possible they could be going somewhere else? I've done searches that have returned nothing, so I'm assuming that's not the case.

PS I'm using VLC 1.1.3 and Windows Vista, if that helps anyone. I really want this to work!
