Now with TStoMPEG2 it does not work, the ts-contatiner is not recognized by these two programs, might be because vlc put a mp4-compressed video i a container normally designed for mpeg2. Hi PeterM, if these cards are that expensive there, why don't you order some here in Europe. I had to stream several videos for a conference and used the Haupauge analog cards like WinTV PCI, WinTV Primio and same. Got them on Ebay for around 10€ each. I have now 5 cards i will sell on Ebay next wee...

Yes, i did it without problems, but you need bandwidth!
In the GUI (i use XPpro) you can put in eg. 4096 in the drop down field, or just change the vb parameter in the command line.

:sout=#transcode{vcodec=mp4v,vb=4096,scale=1}
