Re: 64-bit support for windows.

It would make intuitive sense that, since most all PCs are 64-bit, you have the 64-bit version more predominate on the download site. When you go to the site you intuitively just click the download button and discover it is 32-bit, with no where showing a 64-bit version. Why not show the download fo...

VLC - 64-bit

Has the videolan project stopped compiling VLC for 64-bit systems? I can only find the 32-bit program. The last 64-bit program appear to be 2.1.4

I am unable to search for 64-bit, as the search program will not accept 64.

Re: Suggestions - My Computer Links

I now understand your API msg. I changed the My Documents and My Videos files to point to another location, but I guess for some reason it did not change the Windows API? Which API function do you read? I can try to go through the discovery process, but as an average user that seems like a lot of tr...

Suggestions - My Computer Links

In the My Computer links you seem to be using the standard Microsoft locations for My Music, My Videos, My Pictures. Like many, I have moved these other locations.
SUGGESTION - Could you make it possible to choose custom folders to download Music, Videos, Pictures?

Is VLC a 32-bit or 64-bit structure?

Is VLC 32-bit, or 64-bit software? I am wondering if it is really beneficial to move to a 64-bit system to take advantage of the larger RAM?

Re: Hotkeys not working

What does your response mean?
By the sparness of your answer, I gather you are not on the develepment or debugging staff, is that correct?

If you are, What can I do about it?
Why would a default setting be out of sync with movie industry standards?

Re: Hotkeys not working

No. It seems to work OK with mp4 files and flv files. I only seem to have the problem with hollywood movie rentals. I was mistaken when I initially stated the problem, as I reloaded Ver 1.1.11 to use it and discovered it also has a problem with the arrow keys. I don't remember it happening in the pa...

custom folders for Playlist files

I have multiple disks on which I save audio and video files. It would be nice if in the Media Browser section we were given the ability to add custom folders for saving files.
Thanks,

unable to resize screen in Restore Down Mode.

Using XP - home
When in Resize Down Mode, and using GOOM visualization, the bottom of the screen is below the top of the Taskbar. I have to then close the taskbar to resize VLC so I can have VLC 1/4 screen size.
Is there a way to use GOOM visualization and easily resize?
Thanks,
Dan
