For some reason the new VLC needs to rebuild font cache every time I play a video. Non of the old versions did this and its very very inconvenient. Is their something wrong? How can I prevent this?
I have the latest version

720P .mkv videos dont allow tracking
I belive the proper term is tracking. I cant jump ahead or back in time the only way to view the video it in one play through If I want to jump to the end or middle it freezes then crashes. This only happens for .mkv and I dont no if it matters but all my .mkv s are 720p this is a big problem for me...
