It seems that the previous users who are also experiencing the same problem are using windows xp sp3 too, maybe this helps?

I have the same issue with version 1.1.2, i'm on windows XP SP3. In order to solve this problem i have to temporarily change aspect ratio under: video-->aspect ratio. Set it to a random selection and then bring it back to "default" option. The snapshot function works fine then :D Course, i...
