Почему в репозитории только VLC 1.1.4, а 1.1.7 нету? В чём проблема?

И кстати почему невозможно скачать для Ubuntu в виде файла *.deb? ( http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-ubuntu.html )

When I am opening video (any file supported format video) appear message: Building font cache.
the vlc player is hanging. That enrage me! How turn off that don't appear this message?

Please, make that in VLC. I can not combine subtitles to get effect like that. At me it turns out nothing.
Or plainly explain, please, how combine subtitles to get effect like that.

I so did not understand there. Will You do two(dual) subtitles normal or no?
