I suggest to remove the UI option in the next release...

This regression bug was introduced from version 1.0, ad it's tracked from more than 1 year. IMHO it's very severe bug because makes totally unusable a very evident UI option. I'm not optimistic after 1 year...Same problem with VLC 1.1.2.
