now changing the render engine thing to the dummy one isnt working for me on my laptop so sick of this. does anyoneknow of a alternative that is as good, but actually works? VLC programmers obviously dont give a --please stay polite-- if we use their program or not, a nd dont care about making it us...

why the hell hasnt this been fixed yet? got the newest version of VLC on my laptop, and still having the damn problem. so annoying.
so i have to google and search the forums all over again to find the fix.

is there a VLC like alternative that actually works? if so im switching.

im having the same problem, and its damn annoying.
Sometimes it can take longer than 2 min.

hope it gets fixed soon. love VLC player. would hate to look for another.
