Re: 1080p60 H.264 is slow

Just downloaded one of the cam files and it stutters on VLC but plays perfectly on WMP

I have the last VLC nightly build on an ATI 4200 (old drivers; 10.7 didn't work for me)

Re: VLC 64 bit for windows 7 ?

Can you record a bit of that Cars clip and put it up?
I have a similar system/OS to yours and would like to test it cause I have no issues like that.

Re: Missing audio on some AVI files

Well try the message option. Just run the video, open tools/message, change the verbosity to 2... save the info you get and post it here.

I'm sure someone more intelligent than I will be able to decipher the cause.

Sometimes I think the replies here are too rude for a damn good, free software.

Re: Missing audio on some AVI files

I couldn't say at all, but it's not the file. Have you used Tools --- Message --- verbosity =2 to ascertain what goes wrong at 1:22? Because I was waiting with great anticipation for the audio to cut off and it never did, lol. I also didn't get that drop at the beginning. I will say however that I t...

Re: Looking for testers on Windows Vista/7 for DxVA2

Running a Radeon 4200 card on Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.
I just uninstalled the new Catalyst drivers and I recommend the same to everyone else. Just had my third blue screen and it seems to be happening to others too.

I'll wait for a better driver set to properly test the DxVA2

Warner I think you can check here over the next week or so and get the release, it won't hurt you to check in if it doesn't prompt you to update

Re: Looking for testers on Windows Vista/7 for DxVA2

Tried to play the 2160 file and the driver crashed, no BSOD.

But an hour or so later, tried to play a simple youtube video and got a BSOD referencing this file atikmdag.sys

One more thing; the slider doesn't work on the recorded video. Is that usually the case?

Recorded video playback with choppy audio

Hi, thanks for a great program. Now for my issue... I've noticed that when I try to record a snippet of video from a larger avi file it plays back with audio drops. However, if I upload that exact file on YouTube it plays flawlessly on my system. I assume that means VLC player itself has a problem p...
