Thanks to everyone who tried to help. I do believe that the HD recordings are now encrypted They PVR originally didnt encrypt HD recordings but a FW update changed all that

Anyway thanks very much for trying to help.

I have uploaded a couple of test ts files to mega upload:

Thanks jhb50 unfortunately there are no subtitles. I have tried switching off the 'no sub autodetect option' but still no video or sound.

I have just installed VLC 1.1.0 on my Vista machine it plays avi mkv etc fine no problem but it wont play ts files from my Freeview PVR.
