Re: Prores 4444 Green screen

Any update on this? Still can't play in VLC at least half of all of the 4444 files I get. This includes a Linux box and another on Windows.

Re: Prores 4444 Green screen

Re: Projector vs. Monitor Output

I need to ask again: Isn't the easiest solution just having two graphics cards?

Re: Projector vs. Monitor Output

That seems easier said than done. I've never had a setup which did not "leak" artifacts onto the projector image... mouse pointer, cursor, window frame, etc. I literally want either completely black screen or the video output and absolutely nothing else. At the same time I want to see EVER...

Re: Projector vs. Monitor Output

Wait a second... doesn't one solve this problem with two graphics cards? Or the onboard as well as a PCI card? Linux can utilize two at the same time, correct? If so, then how would VLC select output?

Projector vs. Monitor Output

I had posted my question in a similar thread in the Windows forum, with only a little bit of luck, so I thought I'd try here in Linux. I'm on Ubuntu (12.04 currently), and should remain so on future installs implementing what I'm asking about here. Nvidia has been buggy, so I anticipate going ATI ac...

Re: How can I have video playback fullscreen on Monitor 2

So, I'm still hoping for a remedy to my problem two years later. The automation thing I will work out on my own (or not). But I would definitely like to figure out the display aspect of this. How do I make sure that display #1 (projector) shows only the video stream in question, whether it be a file...

Re: How can I have video playback fullscreen on Monitor 2

I think I'm asking the same question here, but I just want to clarify... I'm connecting my tower to my HD projector to run features and shorts programs in a large venue. I want to have confidence that ONLY the actual feature's video stream is hitting the screen; no window frames, no file info, no mo...
