Re: Choppy playback - Works just fine in Windows Media Player

I don't know why this DRM related warning appears in the log since I am playing a video file I created from my DJI Drone and the file playback works. The issue is really with the choppy playback that I get most of the times I play the file. Thanks.

Re: Choppy playback - Works just fine in Windows Media Player

I am also experiencing choppy video playback when watching higher resolution content. For example I'm playing a 1440p@30fps mp4 file directly created by a Mavic Mini using standard VLC (no special configuration) on a Ryzen 3600 / GTX 1050 / 32GB ram / SSD drive and there is an annoying lag in the v...

Re: Video playback choppy/stuttering - 1440p content on current hardware

Try changing the output module. See this thread: https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=155421 The thread proposes to change the HW decoding option, therefore I try with disabled Hardware Decode and saw the same issue. I also ran VLC with verbose set to 2 and created 2 log files while ...

Video playback choppy/stuttering - 1440p content on current hardware

I'm playing a 1440p@30fps mp4 file directly created by a Mavic Mini using standard VLC 3.0.11 (no special configuration) on a Ryzen 3600 / GTX 1050 / 32GB ram / SSD drive. The video is a very smooth pan from left to right and therefore it makes it very easy to notice stuttering. Every time I start t...

I am looking for a solution for the same problem here. I want to transcode different types of videos into wmv/wma asf files that I will be able to watch on a Compaq iPaq pocketPC with Pocket Media Player. I tried to transcode videos with the ASF container, the wmv video codec and I tried every sound...

Can't see any video with vlc-0.8.5 on hx4700 (WinCE)

Hi, I'm using a hx4700 iPaq with a nightly build of VLC (vlc-0.8.5-svn-20051121-0130-wince.zip) and I'm trying to receive a network stream from a Windows computer. I tried to stream wmv, mp4, mp2, mjpeg, well almost every possibilities from the VLC application and the best I've been able to receive ...

VLC on Familiar Linux

I have installed VLC on Familiar about 2 years ago and if I remember well I used ipkg to install all dependencies packages. For VLC, I installed the binary version for iPaq Familiar from the VLC web site. I don't remember having memory problems but I guess you could install VLC on a memory card. You...
