Pauses once or twice during song for a couple seconds when playing mp3s on my phone over home network, wirelessly of course.
This doesn't happen with 2 other apps I tried: "samba player" and "es file explorer"

I am not streaming the file, I am opening it on a networked drive

version 2.0.0

when I play large video files (eg .avi) on a shared drive on another computer on my windows network, it breaks up occasionally in playback. There appears to be no problem when I play the same file in windows media player. Is there some setting in VLC to fix this?

these are local podcast mp3 files that I have downloaded

this is a bug.
Listening to an podcast mp3 and pause for 5 minutes or so, then when continue play there are blips in the audio.

now when I close the file & open again the problem goes away

using vers 1.1.0 playing mp3s.
there are small blips in the playback always at the same places.
the problem does not happen when play the file in winamp.
