Same problem here!

I noticed that sometimes VLC quits normally. So the bug is inconsistent.

When I right-click launched VLC dock icon and click Quit, VLC doesn’t quit. When I then simply click the icon, VLC quits.

Developers, do you at least read this forum?

ajmas, I have cleared the preferences. I have also deleted org.videolan.vlc.LSSharedFileList.plist, where VLC seems to store Recent list.

Open Recent doest work even when I don't quit it — it just doesn't remember ole file when I open a new movie in the same instance of player.

The same problem for me in VLC 10.6.3.

VLC 1.1.0, Mac OS X 10.6.3  — Open Recent menu is always empty

If I turn on Volume Normalizer in simple VLC 1.1.0 Preferences, I can’t turn it off. I don’t want to check, but in earlier version a new value of normalizer wasn’t saved too.

When I open Media Information|Statistics in VLC 1.1.0 the Frames per Second is always 0.

When I open Preferences|Hotkeys in VLC 1.1.0, there is no ‘Long forward jump’ there. When I set ‘Short forward jump’, it disappears too.

Also, Hotkeys in Advanced Preferences are not working at all.

Also, I have to restart VLC in order to get new hotkeys to work.

When i pause a H.264 movie in VLC 1.1.0 and press ‘e’ (Next Frame), a crappy picture is produced, sometimes even not just one, but a series of frames upon one press of ‘e’.
