Thank you for the swift reply, but I have removed the default shortcuts for F9 and F10, and it still does not work.

Hi, I use my good old SE K750i to remote control VLC using bluetooth, it's great when having the TV connected and sitting in the couch :D The remote is locked to F9 and F10 for volume up/down.
