Re: vlc H.264/MPEG-4 AVC Problem

Similar problem with AVC1 file playback in VLC, were the file is recorded with SYSM Camera Monitor in Windows 10 64-bit. One can view live footage and save audio & video from certain models of WiFi mini-cameras using SYSM Monitor, also known as P2PCamViewer. It shows camera footage on screen and...

Can't stream out via Windows Commandline

Hi guys, I'm trying to transcode RTSP input stream from H264 IP Cam into MJPEG output stream with VLC via Windows Command Prompt. I followed this example suggested by Jean-Baptiste Kempf : >"C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe" -I dummy -vvv rtsp://192.168.1.117:554/user=admin_password=z...

Further testing shows that VLC does NOT open any RTSP stream via VLM config file or VLM Configurator. For example, when the above config is ent...

Can't capture stream via VLM config

I'm trying to capture stream from 720P H264 RTSP IP cam and transcode & re-stream it as MJPEG. When I enter the following commands in VLC GUI, everything works, and I can capture VLC MJPEG stream in a surveillance package that doesn't support H264 capture: Input: rtsp://192.168.1.117:554/user=ad...

Re: Dynamically changing VLC Audio Output

Thanks VLC_Help! Is there a way to upgrade the program to allow dynamically change Audio Output without its restart? To check quickly, if another Output sounds better for a particular movie? Even while the movie is playing in VLC without stopping it? When one restarts VLC, it starts playing the same...

Dynamically changing VLC Audio Output

I have a Mobo with an audio chipset outputting via S/PDIF, and another Audio Chipset on ATI GPU Card outputting via HDMI. When I try to change Audio Output in VLC Prefs, it doesn't apply until the PC is rebooted. This is extremely inconvenient - to reboot the PC for each video program, since many re...
