You can copy from the vlcrc file.

Re: where are speed control buttons (full screen) in VLC 2.0

yes, i will have to.

it would be much easier if custom Hotkey mappings were stored separately. so they can be restored as opposed re-programmed on each computer. (for that matter ALL customizations backup/restore would be even better).

thanks.

Re: where are speed control buttons (full screen) in VLC 2.0

I am assuming you are referring to the dock button. I am not using docked control bar.

I can drag the control bar anywhere I want, but it does not stay there. it keeps snapping back to bottom center of the screen.

Re: where are speed control buttons (full screen) in VLC 2.0

thanks, that answers my second question. (that is even better than i expected!)

now, what about 1. "full screen controller bar" keeps snapping back to bottom of screen in full screen. previous versions let me set the location of that bar.

where are speed control buttons (full screen) in VLC 2.0

i upgraded vlc 1.20 to 2.1.0.

1. "control bar" in full screen keeps snapping back to bottom of screen

2. i no longer see "faster/slower" playback speed buttons on control bar when in full screen mode.

is there a way to fix this or do i have to go back to older installation?

Re: choppy audio in VLC

You are right! reset preferences fixed the audio problem (v.1.1.2). But now the hotkey assignment for "faster" (my choice "=") does not seem to work even though it IS listed in the preference window. Also the normal rate does not seem to reset playback speed for Faster/Slower(fin...

choppy audio in VLC

it has been several versions of VLC that when playing back audio files (avi or mkv) the audio is chopped. playing back same files with other players is ok. the problems seems pronounced with larger files (not sure) using windows 7 ultimate x64. (running VLC on another computer same OS playback is ok)

Re: Audio problems / dropouts with via onboard sound on P755

I have same problem with an ASUS Crosshair formula II (AMD processor) even just playing mp3 file. the board has integrated SoundMax DigitalHD Audio card. (it also has an nVidia HD Audio onboard which is not used, and regardless if it is disabled or not the results are the same). I have tried all the...
