P/S...I did get the file by markostamcar to work. Thanks you much man. Saves a lot of cpu power in VCL over youtube. Hope others are as lucky..... Thanks to RobertKissel for telling me how to do this.....

Same here. I tried both the codes above. Copied to notepad, changed the name to youtube.luac, then put it in the right folder in the playlist, but still no workie. I see it is listed , the second one anyway, second fix, at 8kb's. Does this sound correct? Also do you have a file named youtube_homepag...

You'll have to wait for a fix from the VCL team Admin's..This is a new problem 2-3 days old and they are working on it per another thread...

Same thing here. I went all the way back to 0.8.6 in the vcl and none will play youtube anymore. I thought it was my .NetFramework messed up but it's not. Maybe a fix will be out shortly. Played great yesterday. Thanks....

I am using version 1.1.11 and it want play the youtube either. I edited the .lua script as mentioned earlier in the script, but still a no go. It stopped VLC from crashing, but it still want play YouTube...Do I need to convert back down to 1.1.09.....Thanks.....

I know the older VLC players will play .bin files without any problem or changes. Why has this been disabled or whatever in the newer versions? Can't understand why this was done. Does anyone know? i just downloaded the newest VLC player 1.1.0. When I play mp3's on it it will skip for about 1/2 second, every 8 seconds. With my old player it didnt do this.
