This same question has been asked a number of times with no apparent answer ... how do you save an AVI file AFTER it has been opened in VLC and subsequently modified? Can it be done? If it can ... how in the world to you do it (save it after it has been modified)?

I've been pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to save (with the new changes) an avi file once ive use the j and/or k keys to sync up the audio. I can sync up the audio with the video just fine, using those same keys but when I save the file it is still out of sync as before. I can save the ...

Once I open an avi file (movie) in VLC and sync up the audio with the video ... how do I then save this "new" avi file (that now has the audio synced with the video) so I can now burn it, now synced, to a dvd?
