This has been complained about MULTIPLE times for a COUPLE OF MONTHS now. VLC is not shutting down when X'd. The icon remains in the systray and the program's process is still running. How in the name of all that is holy is this NOT GETTING FIXED?!? "Ctrl+Q" is not a solution. [WinXP, ATI ...

Exactly the same problem here, and this has been mentioned on other posts - at least as long as a month ago - AND YET NO FIX YET. Really frustrating. How hard can it be?!?

That is a fantastic feature - why isn't there some indication that IT EXISTS, somewhere in the menus??? I've been wanting that for a long time, and play with alot of the VLC settings, and yet never stumbled upon it. Seems too 'hidden'!

The z key doesn't change the zoom when it's in the ('o' - key) 'screen dimmer' mode.

How do I set a custom zoom for the 'screen dimmer' mode? Or is it 1:1 pixels no matter what...

Just tried 1.1.0 and it crashes every time I try to open a DVD with it. The baby went out with the bathwater....sheesh.

(And when I play a simple .avi file, the color is all wacky...blue/purple hue everywhere... sheesh(x2)...)

Nice, but 1:1 is almost always too small. So that's really not addressing the need (and the potential for coolness).

How about throwing in a 1:1.25 and a 1:1.5 and a 1:2 option! That'd work.
