Re: VLC 3.3 for iPhone, iPad and Apple TV

Hey Team my Apple TV 4k [1st version], still isn't working when I try to stream video on SMB. Tried turning Prefer SMB 1 off as written last page, but still not working. Works fine on my Amazon Fire Stick 4K.

Re: AppleTV streaming worked. Then it didn't. Help!

Same thing has happened to me, since the recent updates I can no longer stream files from my PC. Works in Amazon Fire Stick VLC but no TVos.

Re: Any update on Airplay support on VLC for Windows?

Every time somebody asks when VLC 4 is ready, it gets delayed by two minutes.

You'd better ask whoever it was that promised it.
Ha Ha no worries.

Any update on Airplay support on VLC for Windows?

Hi,

Last I could find is that Airplay support should be coming in version 4, is this still on track, an if so is there an estimated release date?

Cheers.

VLC 1.1.11 Issue

Hi, Since I've upgraded to the latest version, when playing some MPEG4 AVC Part 10 .MKV's [notably itunes rips, AKA WEB DL], and having Gpu acceleration enabled, Causes Blocky video. When I disable GPU Acceleration it plays fine. These vdeos played fine in earlier versions with GPU acceleration and ...

Re: VLC 1.10 - disable volume increase using laptop buttons

Which is what I've been doing,

Thanks

Also another minor bug. If I'm playing video FS and I double click on the video to go back to window mode, nothing happens, but If I press F it quickly goes back to window, then FS then back to Window. This doesn't always happen.

Cheers

VLC 1.10 - disable volume increase using laptop buttons

Hey, I have a Dell XPS M1710 Laptop that has inbuilt, Mute, Vol Decrease / Increase, Play / Pause, chapter Skip and Stop buttons. In 1.05 when I pressed any of the buttons they had no impact on VLC, [E.g. Volume Up would raise the Windows volume] but in 1.10 they do. Now, I like being able to play /...

Re: X264 Playback Issues

You have tried to remove %appdata%\vlc folder?
But I just recently installed Win 7, and the problem happened in Vista and now Win 7?
Tool called DxVAChecker will tell that (look at H264_VLD).
Ok Thanks.
Latest MPCHC works fine in here.
Cheers

Re: X264 Playback Issues

H.264 decoder used in VLC doesn't support multicore decoding. So it isn't very good for modern day computers. Media Player Classic Home Cinema has build-in decoder which supports multicore decoding and GPU acceleration. VLC 1.1.0 will also support GPU acceleration. Thanks for the info. Any idea why...
