How to change that black screen with the vlc icon that appears when starting vlc in on FullScren

I wonder if there is any keyboard shortcut to change the position of the caption to display it on top of the video, and return it to normal view, and enjoying it that the next versions will have the option to remember the last position of the displayed video ?

With this command it closes the player when it finishes playing, but when I stop playing it won't close the player, in this case the player is in audio, I wanted it closes when I think reproduction also
