i opened an mp3 file and without any preferences altered,its default channel is "left". even after i change it to stereo, whenever i move to the next mp3 in the same album, the channel is changed to left

When i play this specific mp3 file through VLC, the audio channel is always set to "left" which is annoying. I would like this to be set to "stereo". Is there an option I can select to set stereo to the default audio channel? also, is the audio channel of an mp3 imedded inside it...
