What if "A/52 over S/PDIF" isn't in that list? I really love VLC, but so far, unfortunately, the only way I am able to watch movies with 5.1 sound is with help of AC3Filter. I don't really need all its features, but it would be nice if VLC could send AC3 over SPDIF passthrough the same way...
