Re: General understanding building sources to windows libraries

Another thing is the other way round:

What are the sources for libh264_plugin.dll for example?

Thx

General understanding building sources to windows libraries

Hello, i am very new to development and for now i am just interested in understanding how the module sources correlated to the built plugin dlls. For example i am looking for the source file mad.c. There is the Makefile.am which indicates the built module is libmad_plugin. But i cannot find a libmad...

I want to use vlc with tasker and be able to stop vlc again.
I have no root rights. So i thought about the solution analogous to killing of blitzer.de (de.blitzer.KILL_APP is the intent to finish blitzer.de).
Is there a way it to do with vlc app?

Re: VLC Video playing just stops/crashes

Hello, as i already wrote i already reset the preferences. This is not the solution. But in the meanwhile i fortunatley found a workaround for my problem. The real cause i do not understand yet, but this solution is ok for me: I started vlc out of a java vm! As i later recognized this problem does n...

VLC Video playing just stops/crashes

Hi, i have currently the problem, that vlc, or better obviously the (released) direct3d video output window, crashes in that way, that the video just stops. The vlc window itself seems to be usable, but the output window is frozen and can't be closed, or removed in any way. Play, pause and stop... o...

play speed stays high(er)?!!

i did not yet recognize the real steps to reproduce, but: When i speeded up the play speed to twice for example and then press play again it occures, that on the next title in the list the play speed is twice again. When vlc is once in this state, it stays until i restart vlc. In other words it play...

Re: 1080p playback choppy (NOT hardware)

Hi, i have tested a little bit again: I could not solve the mpg2 problem. But i figured out, that the problem with the pixellated video just concerns one video. In this case it is Dr.House season 3! I have tried to get a snapshot of it, you can see the squared fields in the video! As i said, i am no...

Re: 1080p playback choppy (NOT hardware)

Yes of course, i did. I activated it, deactivated it and played around with many other options. Most of them do not change anything, this is unfortunately the frustrating case! This applies also to the gpu decoding. I think it would help to explain, where are the differences between for example vlc ...

Re: 1080p playback choppy (NOT hardware)

Hi, i just want to say, that i have the same problem. I am fighting against this issue since month. Researches on the web and many invested time did not help solve the problems. I have a Core I7 930 CPU, Ati HD5770 Graphics Card, Win7 pro 64 Bit System. I use to see videos over a HD Beamer. The main...

Hello,

i want to use visualization, but of course only, when i play media without video. Where can i set this?

Obviously the visualization window shows always, so for real videos i get two video windows. Does it make sense?

Question: How to clear Playlist

Hello, i want to clear the playlist automatically on request, not over gui interface. My preferred way would be a command line option to clear it, or to say vlc to use the specified file (or playlist) as the only new item(s) in the playlist and delete all old ones. Of course i am using vlc in the on...

Re: System freezes on SPDIF out

OK.. i updated my audigy 2 soundblaster drivers yesterday. And what should i say - it seems to work now. If so, it really helped and i am very glad about it. I should have read the faq earlier yesterday.... sorry! My old drivers where really rather old and may be they have been corrupted in a way wh...

System freezes on SPDIF out

Hey all, my VLC freezes when i use spdif direct out. I already know, that sound does not stutter when i use win32 wave out. But when i use it, vlc crashes (freezes the whole system!!!) either when i switch between ac3 track and another, or when i stop the video. To come to the point: Obviously when ...
