it is on my hard drive. i was unaware that vlc could be used as a browser plugin.
and as i said earlier, although not as detailed, i have other 1080p trailers not from itunes as well as BluRay rips encoded as mp4s on my hard drive and they all hover around 50% CPU and 6% GPU.

also, i cannot change the video display wrapper. it wont stay on anything other than default.
it does the same with all 1080p videos that i have on my computer.

AMD 64 x2 3200+ nVidia 8800 GT Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit Am i missing some setting somewhere? when playing the Iron Man 2 trailer as downloaded from iTunes in 1080p, my CPU is hovering around 50% and my GPU as reported in GPU-Z is only at 7%. as far as i can work out, hardware acceleration is enabled...
