Audio -> Audio Device menu show A/52 over S/PDIF option during playback ---- This is only visible when the audio source is Digital (Bluray, dvd, DD, DTS...) If the source is PCM that option is not there. But like...

Re: Vlc player has No Sound

I am currently having this problem. Win7 Pro x64 VLC 1.1.11 (tried older versions) This no audio issue came out of no where. I found this thread and renamed VLC.exe to VLC2.exe which resolved the audio problem. It also broke all the file icons. I don't find that to be a fix but rather a band-aid. I ...

Re: Manually Select Output Device (S/PDIF)

That option is not visible. But at this moment all audio has stopped working. I am not pursuing this thread topic anymore. I am just trying to get audio to work again. The loss of audio was actually very sudden and unprovoked. No settings were changed it just stopped working one day. I followed this...

Manually Select Output Device (S/PDIF)

I have been looking for a solution to my problem for a while to no avail so I figured I would post my issue. I like to play a show/movie for my GF while I play a game using my Headphones. I use Z-5500 speakers with S/PDIF (optical) out with an HT Omega card and USB headphones. I was able choose my H...

Re: Win7 x64 vlc 1.0.5 Bluray 1080p not full screen

So its common for a Blu-Ray that is 1920x1080 to have black bars on the top and bottom? That sucks. I have The Dark Knight in Blu-Ray 1080p and some scenes will be full screen and others wont. That doesn't make sense.
