Storage consumption playing ogg

I've got a library of 15 cd's streaming from my server. It only amounts to 850M. It seems to be consuming an increasing amount of storage on my hard-drive. Is there a reason why this would be? Would server logs eat up that much memory? I've read about memory leaks but this is more about storage. Any...

Thanks for your reply Greg. The results of using .asf file format in the wiki are a little vague. Is there any way you could elaborate on how you were able to acheive this outcome? Is there any solution for web pages served by a Linux server? The solution on the page is for pages served by Windows.

I had a similar problem when streaming audio. In using mp3 files the stream would stop at the end of each song. When I switched to the ogg format it just kept on playing.

After much research, I've gotten my http stream to work . However, when I go to embed the link in a webpage, I can't get the player to work. It took me a while to get the streaming to work but everything I've tried to get the stream to play from a web page doesn't work. I am currently using firefox ...
