Can someone confirm that VLC does not recognize F12 at all? I’ve been trying to assign it as a hotkey, and no matter what function I give to it, it won’t trigger. I was able to get my global hotkey to work by just assigning it to a different key. VLC wouldn't recognize F12 for some reason, so I switched it over to F1 and it worked. Go figure.

It is possible to hide the menu, status, and caption bars?

Where? I cannot find this option under Tools, Preferences or under View, Customize Interface. Is there another place I should look?
