That setting only changes the VLC window size to match the video's size, and doesn't appear to affect DPI text/icon sizes.

Hmm, the file select dialogue box is still using tiny icons and text so this workaround isn't 100%.
I found several DPI-related bugs on trac but they last had dev activity 3y ago, so not very promising.
Unfortunately I don't know enough about DPI settings on Windows to pinpoint the issue.

On VLC 3.0.11 it seems that the transport buttons' tool tips (hover help) don't appear whilst streaming from a RTSP source. They do appear when playing back a file.
I can never remember what all the buttons mean so tooltips are very useful.

If I play a video and then select a Chromecast Audio CCA device as a Renderer then the audio is duly cast to the CCA but the local video playback stops. Hi Is there any way to label all the mystery icons that VLC uses? For example if I tap on the three dots icon while a video is playing then 10 icons pop up which are not self-explanatory at all. ISO file menus don't work for me either (menu options can't be selected, and the default selected option doesn't activate) on VLC 3.0.5 on stock Android 6.0.1 on a S2 tab.
They work fine in Kodi.
