Re: Transcode live multicast to flash and emebed in web page

Hello Squirrelywrath, thank you for your help. As it turned out, the problem I was facing (and am still facing) is not related to a certain revision from SVN nor to the fact that I want FLV output. It seems to be solely related to the HTTP output access module. The problem I described above happens ...

Re: Transcode live multicast to flash and emebed in web page

Hello Squirrelywrath, I would really like to know how you built that version of vlc. I am desperately trying to set up flv-streaming via access=http with many different revisions from svn. Basically it works (my commad line is quite the same that you postet, with the difference of mp3 for acodec - f...

Re: 404 Not found

Could it be that the current help doesn't give any info about "--security-policy"? At least I can't find anything regarding that. I would like to have a little bit more info on how the "--security-policy" commandline switch is to be used so that I can use the std as I am used to....

I have all these problems when I try to use the MJPEG stream, but if I try to use the MPEG4 stream the system works. You may want to check if you have the same problem as me. http://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?t=36998 I'm currently trying to get myself into the code to find a fix, but it seems...

[BUG] Multipart MIME separator seems not correctly parsed

Hello all, I just tried to watch a MJPEG stream from a D-Link DCS-900 network camera. Setup seems to be OK, but then there are only messages like that: [00000295] mjpeg demuxer debug: MIME boundary not found in 15360 bytes of data I'm using VLC media player 0.8.6 Janus This was my command line: vlc ...

Hello dionoea, first of all, thank you for your reply. I already made my way into the sources of VLC after realizing, that there really isn't any fast forward or fast backward. If I press the FFW button (client side, GUI) it seems that VLC does a FFW on the internal buffer because it stops after a f...

[VOD] Protocol used for trick modes (ffwd, fbwd, seek)

Hi all, I am curious which protocol VLC uses to realize the trick modes fast forward, fast backward and seek when streaming VOD media. I am currently developing a remote control which uses RTSP to control unicast streams to a given client. It seems, that VLC uses RTSP for starting a stream (play), p...

The last news I have about VLC VOD and Amino boxes is that it doesn't work because there are incompatibilities in the protocol on both sides. Last time I tried that is 2 years ago, IIRC. If you know how to do it, I'd suggest monitoring the control traffic (RTSP) that runs between the two systems and...
