Found a workaround..

Download Soundflower, select your tascam on the soundflower preferences, select the soundflower device through vlc audio preference.

Are there any updates regarding this issue? How can i test the nightly builds or contact a developer so we could sort this problem out? It's really frustrating.. The funny thing is that vlc worked great with us144 on any other release of hackintosh and it doesnt work on the real mac.. Ironic
