It seems that a --live-caching=4000 works a little bit better, but on the stream I can't get any audio signal and the video signal shows like a video on the 1930th years (flash light effect).
The same configure has worked with a earlier VLC version

Jitter / sync problem

Hello, I have build my VLC on a Gentoo x64 unstable Linux with two Xeon CPUs and 16 GB RAM. I would like to run VLC for streaming data form a Hauppauge HVR 1900 (USB) to the network.
