I put in the sample command line, on the wiki, to try and give a clear idea of what it should look like. Sorry I couldn't give a Mac or Linux version of that line, since I don't use those OS'. If someone using the other OS' could add the proper command line syntax to use, in the wiki, that would be ...

Please see:
viewtopic.php?t=4709&highlight=dvd+registry

The same steps, registry entries, should apply for Win2K.

I'm not positive, but that may now be in the auto-installer (the ability to choose autoplay).

If you cut your cache sizes down, use mpeg4 video with UDP/MPEG TS streaming, you chould get about 700 ms total latency.

If you switch to RTP (or is it RTSP?), you reportedly can get about 200 ms.

(I say "reprotedly" only because I haven't personally tried it -- the 700 is my own results)

The biggest issue is that most people do not have multicast ISP, especially not multicast outgoing. (Multicast is a method that lets you send out one set of something, then as many people as want can listen to it -- it takes no more bandwidth) So, you would be retricted to addressed mode, a case whe...

Do a search for one of the files. Right click on it and pick "Open with" -- "Choose Program". Hunt for the program you want, then click the "Always use" checkbox. Overall, this should be harmless. A .bin is often simply a binary -- individual apps that have their own .b...

I thought the on-the-fly channel change was implemented, but in a quick look I do not see it. I don't think it would be hard to implement, just that it might not be in place as of yet, at least it's not exposed through, for example, the rc telnet-like interface. You might want to give that realvnc a...

1) Make sure you have the latest DirectX from MS, plus check for the latest NVidia drivers from them. 2) Under Settings -- Preferences, -- General -- Video, try forcing the video module. Try both Directx and OpenGL, see if one works better. 3) Try a nightly build -- do a search on this forum for tha...

No big deal, if the Radeon can be viewed locally on the big PC using VLC. First, make sure you have the latest DirectX from MS, and video card drivers, for both the big PC and your tablet. What you do is transcode the audio and video, then stream it out over the WiFi. A 1 Mbps mp4v-encoded video, 96...

rtci is deprecated/removed. It was just a stub, a 100% duplicate of rc, that had been put in place if an rc variant was generated.

mpeg2 generally doesn't play nice for special things. Use mpeg4 or h264, or switch to MJPEG if it is not only low framerate but also very low bitrate.

Write software.
You would go into the CODECs directory area, take a look at what's modeled there, plus probably have to do something in the Demux area.

(Look at DMO in CODECs, which uses hooks to external DMO codec objects.)
