I'm having the same problem. Mine also crashes with every ".m4v" file. Same results on my Windows XP laptop as my Windows 7 laptop. (personally, I think it's the little santa hat on the icon that's causing the crash since I didn't have this problem before that showed up... so merry F'in ch...
