Yes that would be ideal if selecting vlc.play() action would return to normal play speed.

Hi all, is there a way to have vlc to set the snapshot directory to the current users desktop?

I tried vlc --snapshot-path %homepath%/desktop

But vlc just sets the path to the above line.

Anyway Vlc can read the enironment variable contents ?

If you go to preferences, enable advanced options, Input / Codecs, Access Modules and then HTTP/HTTPS and perhaps UDP/RTP and increase the cache size. Make sure to save and restart VLC.

If you go to the videolan.org main website and click on the documentation icon you can then choose which format you would like to view the documentation. Further towards the right of the format list are pdf, txt and rtf versions of the documentation which can be downloaded to your computer and read ...

You could try deleting your vlcrc preferences file

it's in

C:\Documents and Settings\<Windows Login Name>\Application Data\vlc
