I didn't know there was a 1.1 of VLC... I've tried (and seen the failure) with 1.0.2, 1.0.3, and the latest Mac nightly build.

There have been numerous postings about FLV glitches in 1.0.3 that are fixed by downgrading to 1.0.2, but that didn't work for me, so I'm creating a new thread.
