No, it doesn't play the audio either. The media information says that it is an audio file, that's it. No video. I downloaded it on limewire, you can get it from there if you want to.

Hi I downloaded a movie file in the .avi format. when i play it in vlc player, no video appears, but the trackbar keeps proceeding.
