Ok two clicks away from uninstalling vlc due to that irritating "cork" which destroys gapless...

Devs, mods, have I stumped you ?

does anyone have a idea on how to disable that "cork" ?.

I have looked but haven't been able to find a option to disable the "cork pop" sound which is used to denote a track transition during music playback, this "cork Pop" is annoying with classical music and it breaks gapless playback on other albums.
