Hmmm, Actually there has been a few users running Win9x that also have reported this. This is likely a problem with the GUI toolkit that we are using but I don't know of any way to fix this. Could you give a try to http://www.videolan.org/pub/testing/vlc-0.7.0-test1/win32/ ? I'll also try to do a pa...

Try "vlc -I dummy --dummy-quiet"

There also are instructions on wiki.videolan.org to install/run VLC as an NT service but unfortunately the wiki is down right now.

Well, as long as you can play this live webcast with VLC then you can record it with VLC as well.

It isn't possible as of yet.

Right now the DirectShow input of VLC only works with analog capture cards, webcams and DV camcorders (last one untested).

But somebody is working on PVR support and this should be included in the 0.7.0 version (scheduled for release in about 3 weeks).

Re: SPACE dont't stop the DVD !!

Well this isn't currently possible. I wouldn't qualify this as a bug, it's just the way subtitles have been implemented (they expire after a certain amount of time). It would certainly be worth changing this behaviour so the subtitles can be paused but I guess it isn't a high priority (and is not a ...
