Found out that "copying" the vlc plugin is just a matter of copy-pasting libvlcplugin.so from one machine to another in dir /usr/lib/mozilla as long as the 2 machines are compatible which was the case with me. My problem was that the *special* Firefox in the target box had plugin scaning d...
