I see. However if VLC dont support cuepoints, as long as it can be controlled externally to jump to certain time, that will accomplish what I am trying to do

Cuepoints are like additional information of specific time(s) along the video, which then can be used during playback. It is similar to DVD chapters where you can jump time, for fater viewing or just viewing specific part of the clip.

Hi, I want to use VLC to play video with cuepoints functionality so I can quick jump to specific time. Is this something that can be done in VLC? i know quicktime has this feature.
And if VLC can do it, can the cuepoints jump be done from other applications (web browser, UDP)?

Hi, I am trying to have multiple applications running at windows, one of them is VLC player. It is to play quicktime video. Another application is adobe director projector.
