I've been going insane trying to figure out how to download the stupid KEYDB.cfg key file. Every time I click on it to download it, all I get is an insane amount of text on the screen and no downloaded file. How the big, fat, hairy, heck do I get this file?

If it isn't too long, I'll just wait for 1.1.1. I'm reluctant to use earlier verisons because some of them have become securtity risks (according to Secunia). I didn't mean to give the impression I was busting anyone's chops over the bugs (especially since I'm getting far more than I "paid"...

Any guesses when that will come out?

Is this a bug that is going to be fixed? If so, any guesses when? I have over 400 .m3u files that aren't working and I would really hate to have to recreate them all.

VLC 1.1.0 won't open previously made .m3u playlist files. It will open .m3u files that were made with VLC but not ones made by my CD ripping program (past versions have). Wha hoppened?

Uh, never mind; I finally figured it out (although I have a whammer of a headache now ). That was some list. I finally got smart (it happens occasionally) and used the search and replace to find the entry for visualizations. I now have goom opening up when vlc opens. Thanks again.

Thanks. Could you give me some more specific directions to find the file I need to modify? I am crosseyed from staring at umteen dozen txt files in umpteen locations in the VLC program folder. Also, where is the Windows Explorer address bar?

In past versions of VLC, I've been able to find the setting in Preferences to set VLC to always show the Goom visualization. I just installed 1.1.0 and I can't find that setting.

When the visualization is running, every so often it will display the name of the visualization (GOOM), zooming it in and out several times before finally fading out. Having the name pop up for a few seconds in annoying but having it zoom in and out is downright disconcerting.
